Name our baby!
Since we've been pregnant we really haven't discussed names very much. We've come across a few that we think we like but haven't had that moment when we just know "that" is the name we want. I spent 1 hour yesterday on the computer looking at baby names and I'm all named out. I wrote down a few (O.K. 10) that I liked and Jeremy looked them over and didn't really approve of them - WHAT!!!!!!! I think since he got to name Addison that the naming of our son should fairly fall on my shoulders. I didn't realize that he was that opinionated about names! It's a process that we need to figure out since I only have about 6 weeks left - my doctor thinks I'm coming a bit earlier than expected, just because Addison was a week early. Well, if you have any name suggestions we (o.k. I) would love to hear them. I'm sure we will come up with something and I'm not too worried, it's just fun to hear what other people come up with.

YES! I am going to start working on my suggestions!!
I can't believe Jeremy is so opinionated about names - it just seems to go against his laid back personality. I will come up with some good ones for you. You know Addie really wants him to be named Moses :o)
Oh goodie! I will be pondering this and coming up with some suggestions. If I tell Scott about this, be prepared, he can be fairly honery! I can't believe that you are at the 6 week mark. I guess that is what happens when you aren't the one pregnant, it goes by faster.
Naming your own kids is a delicate art when you are a teacher... so many good names have been ruined by bad kids! It's a shame really! Yeah, that's why I make mine up! So, do you want a Heritage original, or would you prefer something more common?
I like Brennan. I have nephews named Kenan and Corban (I love those names, but I can't use them since they're already in the family. Both are Bible names btw). Most importantly, I've never had any of the above names in my classes. I did have a Segan (Say-gun), but I would never use it because of the kid. However, you haven't met him, so you're safe! :)
I should warn you that most of my ideas end with "n". Jacer is kind of cool. There was one of those at Anchorage Christian School when I was in high school. I haven't heard it since, but I always liked it.
I'm not going to list my favorite names, just in case I have occasion to use them later on. Sorry! I'm just selfish like that!
Let's see (just randomly throwing names out there):
Callan, Garon, Micah, Berett, David, Aidan, Ransom
If you choose one of my suggestions, I promise I won't let it go to my head. ;)
HMMM...I like Aiden or Aden (would that be too much with Addy?) I like Zachary and Matthew...I am not too adventurous with names. Makenna would have been Zachary if she was a boy. I do admit...picking names is so much fun, but stressful too!
RHETT! RHETT! RHETT! RHETT!
love,
Derek and Tee Tee
we win yes???
Ok...I've been thinking about it for a while and here's my thoughts. It sure was tough. Franklin is such a big name. So how about: Anderson, Jackson, Alexander, Samuel, Andrew; I like Micah too. Have fun picking!
Oooo, I agree with Katie...weird right? Or not actually. Rhett is your best bet! ha ha. :) But seriously, I really like that name!
