Summer Catch-up!

I am way behind on my blogging and in order to catch up have decided to just do a random assortment of photos with descriptive captions detailing our summer since the beginning of June. It is not what I had hoped to do to preserve some of the memories that we've had but it will have to do in order to catch up.

Father's Day - June 2010

A summer of T-ball games:

In celebration of our country's birthday we:

enjoyed the God and Country Rally where Addison made some new friends and we worshipped God with our community as well as listening to one of my favorite bands, "Need to Breathe". It ended with a fabulous fireworks display. It was a fun evening!

went to the Melba 4th of July parade with our friends the Pucketts. The kids enjoyed filling their bags with candy and Rhett enjoyed the motorcycles and the horses. He did not like the loud sirens made by the firetrucks though.

spent an evening with my side of the family where we played yard games and watched uncle Derek and aunt tee-tee play with Addie and Rhett.

spent an evening with Jeremy's side of the family playing in the new creek that Papa Jim built in the backyard as well as playing a Washer Pipe Box tournament in which the Foxy Boxes took home complete victory (Katie and myself :)) We ended the evening with a few sparklers and some small fireworks.

2nd vacation: Moscow, Idaho to visit Jeremy's Grandma. While we were there we:

played in the kiddie pool

swang at the park

played on the slides

and played a new "mind flex" game that uncle Bud had. It was a game in which you have to control a small ball through a obstacle course using your mind. It was weird but kinda fun!

O.K. - I think that does it!! There is more of summer left and lots more fun to be had but I'm glad I'm now caught up.
