Wow - I can't believe that I am 32 years old. Where did the time go? I look back on my memories as a child and at times they seem so vivid but so far away, like it was another life. I've had a good life, it's had it's moments of trials but they are seemingly small in comparison to many people's stories. I've been lucky!!
So - that leaves me pondering the question what will this year be like for me? My thirty-second year of life. Will I beat the same drum, maybe venture out and try something new, meet a new person, get involved with something I never thought I would - and enjoy it? Who knows? God does and I trust him and so I enter into this next year with anticipation to see how God is going to work in my life and I look forward to it!!
On a sad note, today marks the only birthday I've ever had that I have not received a phone call from my grandma early in the morning wishing me a happy birthday. These past two months without my grams and gramps have been littered with moments of tears. I miss them oh so much!!

1 - My gracious heavenly father
2 - The promise of heaven - which has become more of a reality since two of my most favorite people entered into those gates not long ago.

11 - my job as a teacher
12 - my students (past and present)
13 - Time at the cabin

15 - grandma's apple crisp (which I swear will be at the banqueting table in heaven cuz - it's pretty heavenly)

24 - history (I'm fascinated by it)

32 - love (I've never been without it and I feel so blessed and grateful)
